She wasn't as good at her siblings or cousins (all because they're older), which is something... not so good if you want to gain attention from the other relatives. Her life as a Chinese in her home country, Malaysia, isn't really hard. Living with her relatives during Chinese New Year is a challenge though. It's like a never ending loop - It goes on and on every year, with the same things happening. This year... is a little different. Claire just turned 16. Her mother's desire for her to improve her helping abilities has increased drastically. She threatened Claire that if she failed more than half the tasks assigned by her grandma, she'd send her to boarding school. I published my book on Halloween of 2015, followed by the ebook on Thanksgiving Day of the same year. (There is no significance to the dates ... that's just the way it happened.) I sincerely appreciate your comments. At the age of 53, this city "girl" married a dairy farmer. We both lived in North Carolina but, in retrospect, the hundred miles that separated us was nothing compared to the differences in our lifestyles. Cows, cats, chores; mud, machines, manure ... how was I supposed to deal with these foreign matters? This is a humorous, inspirational look at ordinary events on the farm that gave me an extraordinarily bad attitude. However, there is a cure. When life gets stale or downright discouraging, a change in perspective can change an attitude, and a new attitude translates to joy in living.

A young girl, at the age of 16, struggles with her life, and goes to therapy. The therapist decides that, to help relieve some emotion, the girl write a poem book. Thus, The River Story was created. This young girl goes through difficulties in life that would harm her, emotionally and physically. As an orphan, her life's pretty messed up, and she's become depressed. The poems in this book may be a little too extreme for certain readers out there.

Crazy story

You ever had that one chore that you just hates so much? That one chore that you would just try to avoid to no avail? That one chore that makes you dread coming home, knowing you'd have to do it? Well for Jensen, that chore was Washing the Dishes. It may not seem like much, but to her the chore just didn't fit into her schedule. School, swim practice, homework, dinner, and then finally sleep. After the death of her little sister −who may I add was the one washing the dishes−, she is forced to take on the chore which there isn't any room for. This chore is taking up to an hour maybe two at tops due to the current addition to the family, her mother's boyfriend and his lazy ways. That one hour is also used for swim practice which she no longer had time for. Who knew a stupid chore could cause so much destruction to a dream that may never be achieved by doing so?

Now most people who would write about their life would begin with them sitting down in front of a laptop or computer, sipping on a nice cup of coffee or tea preferably if you are too English like me, as the words flow from man to page but this case is different than most....
