Holly is a freshman at the Coloner Academy. Boxy (Mr. Boxton, the chorus instructor) chose 19 people to acompany him to the Choir Fire competition in NYC. Being the underdogs they don't have a good chance but nothing is impossible. The 19 are all required to audition for a solo and a duet for their performances. Holly wants one very badly but will she have the confidence to perform her best? And does she stand a chance against her overconfident friend, Miriam? There is also this boy, Eli. Holly doesn't know if she wants his friendship or if she wants to be his girlfriend but she does know that she wants him. They are both quite and closed people, will one of them have the guts to tell the other how they feel? Does Eli even feel anything for Holly? So actually I thought of this as a song, since it has some kind of a chorus but it also works as a poem quite fine. It is about seeing the good side of life during a hard time and about staying strong when everything apears to bea against you.
