(Currently unfinished) Rough Draft for a story I hope to finish. Blake Trevors is in a world bent against him. Where as most people are enamored with the beings known as Chosen Ones, mortals who are bestowed with power by the gods to do their bidding, he hates them. Living in an apartment in the town of Chozen, Colorado, he has no power to really act against them however. He is simply a (relatively) normal young man who works at a convenience store. But as a prophecy involving a magma powered witch draws close, Blake's world will soon change forever.

But what no one knows is that her life is not what they think. About a year ago is when it all started, with observing figures that were black and scaly or red eyed snakes watching her from a distance, but no one else seemed to notice them. So she simply put her thoughts under the rug and continued on. Later, it became more frequent and soon, other things she started to see, became more vivid and she concluded that she most definitely was going insane. Then the unexplainable had happened...someone from her past, a chosen, told her everything. Twenty thousand years ago gates appeared around the world and many kinds of monsters swarmed out of the gates, leaving humanity devastated and helpless. The people felt like humanity was over until a few amount of people were suddenly blessed with powers strong enough to defeat the monsters but most of the people died leaving only five chosen ones left, they were the strongest out of everyone and they established a key kingdom to maintain peace for their descendants and the people. Through time the descendants and common people started to get greedy and evil. Twenty thousand years later five descendants were unnaturally weak compared to everyone else but they made a promise to each other to never give up, but one day they overhead their father planning to kill them they ran away in hopes of getting away from their doom, but they were betrayed by their "benefactors" for money and were thrown into the forbidden zone that was swarmed with monsters ranging from low-level monsters to nearly undefeatable monsters, will they be able to survive and get revenge?

This is a story about how an eternal darkness keeps mysteriously making children disappear. Read me to find out more.

Millions of years ago, when the Earth was first created, there was only one continent: Pangaea. But this continent was too big to be led by one person, so four friends-each natural born leaders trusted and adored by all-decided to split the land between them. Coming from different kingdoms, they set out on a journey to find each other and decided to go to the mysterious person. But when one of the four suffers a tragic fall costing her life, the fate of the world is jeopardized. Now the girl's best friend must make the journey and figure out a way to save the world without her, but can they do it?
