I use to have everything, I had a mother to coddle me and a father to protect me. I had a home that was full of joy and my own room that treasured my privacy. Now I regret all those times I told them to leave me alone. "MASUYO!" I turn my head to the side as I feel the wisp of the blade as it goes towards me. SHING! The metal flashes in the dull light. I watch as my father goes to grab me only to be grasped by the throat. Masuyo lost everything and wants to kill the person who took it from her. The man in the mask has started the game the game of cat and mouse. Masuyo is a fighter. Living day to day trying to live up to her parents hopes and dreams. But when a masked man comes and kills them. What has she got left to live for? With new determination she seeks revenge for her parents deaths. Will she achieve what she thinks is important or will she lose hope in finding the killer that took all she ever had. Will she succeed in her goal or will she get distracted along the way and forget what made her go insane.

Choji Akimichi is certainly not what we would call a perfect ninja. He himself is aware of this fact, but he had never really worried about it. That is, until the death of his master Asuma opened his eyes and brought out all his insecurities to the world. It's precisely because of his fragility and lack of cold blood, that Choji is put in front of a test, the last, to prove to his superiors, and especially to himself, that he still deserves to be a ninja servant of Konoha. First thing first, this is a story I wrote back in 2017 in Italian. After a couple of years of hesitation, I finally decided to translated it in English. I hope I did a good job at least with the translation ^_^ So, this is a mystery novel, narrated in the first person, starring Choji Akimichi. Why Choji? Because he's my favorite character of Naruto and beyond. Why in first person? Because I wanted to identify myself with him (in some aspects, I already have something in common with Choji) and give him a bit of introspection. Why a mystery novel? Because I love the "whodunit" stories. As long as they're competently written. I don't know if this one falls into the "competently written" side of the spectrum, you'll be the judge eventually. Still, I tried to build a cohesive mystery, with different suspects, clues, plot twists and foreshadowing, the kind of hints hidden between the lines, that would make an eventual second read fun. ...well, that's all I have to say for now. I wish you to have a nice time with my story :)

On hold!! Sorry guys, but my last years of school have hit me hard and I find it hard to find time for this story. I'm continuing writing but not on this account. I find it hard to write as well as I have grown as a writer and I now see how incorrect I was when I started this. I will try to finish it but it will take a while. Sorry everyone!! Before she came to the Naruto world she did taijutsu for 5 years and just became a bleak belt, because of her obsession with Naruto. She trains, falls in love, fights, and all the other stuff they do in Konoha, but there is more, but your going to have to read to find out.
