I was a city girl so accustom to the fast life but wanted to get away. After begging my parents for months to go back to the ski resort in the mountains of Pennsylvania they finally agreed. I haven't been there since I was young escaping the harsh hurricane which attacked my city. It left major damage behind and we had to stay an extra week and a half because of that. My parents hated it and were so happy when we could go back. They got us up and ready at 5.a.m as soon as word came in. That's the earliest I've ever seen them up in my whole life! lol. I too was happy but in the inside I was a little sad. I cried a little but not in the presence of my parents. They hated to see my cry. I have great parents, they spoil me but I'm not stuck up like most girls who get everything they want. I never ask for much because it's hard and very expensive living in the city. They give me everything I could ever need and more, but when I saw how much they sacrifice for me it hurt. Sometimes I blame our bankruptcy on myself. It crossed my mind all the time but I won't let it bother me today. Finally I get to get away from the busy world. Street lights, noisy honks from cars and crowded road ways are many miles behind me.
