In Girls Wear Combat Boots Too, young Grace, who is afraid of heights after a playground accident, is very excited to go to her neighborhood air show. Her mom was a parachutist in the army, and Grace has always dreamed of wearing combat boots and following in her mom's footsteps, but first she must learn to overcome her fear of heights. When she does overcome her fear, the question becomes, Will she or will she not live out her dream to someday fly in the air like a bird?

One terrible year, a horrible Virus swept threw the world, effecting everyone over the age of 14. As people fell sick with the virus, their brains rotted, their skin erupted with boils and rashes, and their flesh weakens. Once they have the virus, they are not human. Their is something about it that changes the way the victims think. Because the children (14 years old and over) aren't effected, their flesh is pure. Sick, Desperate and crazy the Adults eat their children alive. But as many children die many children escape from the Sickos Grasps and run. As kids find each other, they form groups. they gather weapons, swords, bows, daggers, axes anything they can get their hands on. Parentless, they fight against Sickos and sometimes against their selfs

When the Holodomor(starvation) has occurred in Ukraine, it was a very fearful experience. Everywhere she looked children and families where dying on the streets of Ukraine form having no food or water. People try to survive, but everyone is only skin and bones. How dreadful it was going through the pain. When will all the tragedy of Ukraine come to an end? Will Lena and her family survive through the troubles of Ukraine? Read to find out.
