This is a you / uswnt story! Hi I'm y/n Press, yes as Christen Press who plays for the USWNT. I'm her youngest sister. (you're 19 almost 20) I just got home from serving in the army. I was deployed to Spain for the least year and a half. It was originally supposed to be 10 months but my unit was asked to stay. Two weeks ago my unit was ambushed while returning back to camp and we were taken hostage. Only 4 of us survived the crash. By the time rescue came, I was the only survivor. I was excited to see my family again. Due to what happened to me the army honorably discharged me so I don't have to go back. My parents know and two sisters Channing and Tyler know that I'm coming home I asked them not to tell Christen, so I could surprise her. Christen and I were always the closest growing up. She always looked out for me and protected me. She was in college when I left so we had to say goodbye through FaceTime. She tried to come home but had a game against Canada and I told her to stay and play. I also play soccer, Jill Ellis wanted me to join when I turned 17 but I had already decided I wanted to go into the Army after I turned 18. I was on the U-18 women's national team before I left for Spain. I can't wait to get back to playing. There's so many unanswered questions. Will you join the national team or will you crack under the pressure?
