One of the things that is super charged, super subjective (meaning emotionally-driven), and political now. . . LGBTQ+. The Church has gotten better about talking about it, but it's still a topic that is avoided and stalled with a simple, "It's a sin, period, done, move on." Here, I found Scripture to talk about each major aspect of LGBTQ, mixed in a little of the sociological knowledge I gained that I found to be Biblically sound and accurate, AND presented a broad guideline for how to approach this topic. Again, you WILL get offended, you WILL get uncomfortable. That's why this is called the Uncomfy Study. My only requests are be kind and professional in any conversation and read the message fully and prayerfully before coming to your own conclusion. Author: Jay (Wolfpool77)

[Camp Nano April '16] PLEASE NOTE: This is a spin-off to Music Therapy, and although it can be read as a stand alone novel, you will get more out of it if you read Music Therapy first. Nathan Morrison grew up in a very God and Christian music centered environment. His parents - although it was mostly his Mom - taught him from a very young age about the healing powers of God's music. So when he's assigned as a peer mentor to Brittany Peterson and catches a glimpse of the struggles she's going through with her faith and relationships, he decides that he'll bring his favorite Christian CD to life through their peer mentor sessions. IV ♛ & COUNTRY BLESSING: contains Christian religious content

In my "Game of Faith" message I tackled the question of why God lets us go through challenging times; this time, I'm going to talk about another difficult, commonly-asked question: If God is the Ruler of the Universe, why doesn't He just make everyone follow Him? Why didn't He make Adam and Eve obey Him in the garden? After all, He knew what Satan would try to do beforehand, right? This question has many different forms, but it all boils down to why doesn't God just fix everything and everyone Himself, and make everything perfect now? Author: Jay (Wolfpool77)

God speaks to each of us individually. Sometimes it's a still small voice or a feeling deep in your heart or soul. Maybe it's a vision while you're sleeping, the words you read in a book, or the words spoken by a friend. You can hear God in many different ways. However, sometimes, even with all these amazing and unique ways we can hear God's voice, we doubt whether it's really Him. In this (hopefully somewhat) short study I did, I'm going to point out God's voice, why it's important to listen for it, and the two main voices (at least, that I've noticed) to try to obscure His. I want to talk about apathy. If we view hate as the opposite of love, then apathy is the opposite of empathy. If empathy is the ability to feel and share in the suffering and joy of those around you, then apathy is the inability to do so. As Christians, who are called to be empathetic and compassionate, apathy is dangerous. Apathy: lack of interest, enthusiasm, or concern [concern is a byproduct of some level of love] Author: Jay (Wolfpool77)
