Christine and Raoul try to escape from the opera house as quickly as possible. One impulsive decision separates the engaged couple. As a result, Christine finds herself trapped in the burning opera house. Erik, suspecting that his beloved has remained at the opera house, is determined to save her. Due to one decision, their fates become intertwined once again. Will Erik fight to win Christine's heart? Will Christine be able to forgive her Angel of Music for years of lies and manipulation? Complete! Change just one of Christine's actions, and the story turns out quite differently, as the Phantom learns to be human once more and his Angel discovers that love is not always like the storybooks.

Christine Daae is accustomed to mediocrity in her career as a dancer in the chorus at the Opera Garnier. She is mostly unnoticed, lonely and in perpetual fear of being dismissed. More than that, her lingering grief over her father's death means that she is a but a hollow shell of her former self. She fears she is losing her mind when a mysterious voice reaches out to her from the dark. The voice offers her a wonderful opportunity; she only has to be brave enough to grasp it. How could she know that by doing so, she will set in motion a chain of events that would change her life forever and endanger the ones she loves?

This is a fan fiction based on the story of The Phantom of the Opera and Love Never Dies. I do not, under any circumstance, own Erik, Gustave, Meg, Madame Giry, or Raoul. I wish I did though... It's 2 years after young opera sensation Christine Daae was shot and killed, and she left giant scars in her passing. Her ex-lover Erik Destler is devastated, but when he meets Phantasma's newest star, a mysterious beauty named Ariadne, can he find hope? Or will he rely on a criminal to fix his broken heart? As for Gustave, being a 12 year old with no mother sucks. No one understands the pain, and he feels alone. When Gustave enters the first few stages of depression, he begins to view the world in ways children his age shouldn't. When his only happiness is through music, can he be saved? Meg Giry killed her best friend. That's not exactly something you can let go. Alas, Meg claims that she is healed, but through receiving the love, pleasure, and attention of others. Yet, will she learn to let down her high walls, and let others in? Innocent people, victims of an accident. Will they find happiness, or will they forever feel incomplete?

After the death of Christine, Erik was left to raise his son, Gustave alone. However, now he feels it necessary to have Raoul be there in the rest of Gustave's life. Hopefully they will be able to set the past behind them and come together to raise Gustave to the best of their abilities.

Gustav Daae; Musical prodigy and the star of Coney Island! Raised by two very different parental figures and in the care of freaks. Its been seven years since Christine Daae's tragic death on the docks of Coney Island. In the aftermath, Mister Y fell into an unlikely business arrangement. Faced with the trials of his newfound fatherhood, he sought the advice of the Vicompt De Chagny on how one raises a young boy properly. In a reluctant truce, the two fathers signed a contract of shared guardianship. Raoul was no expert father, but he certainly knew more than our dear Phantom, and the grieving Gustav would benefit from a familiar face. Now a young man, in center stage making headlines just as his mother once had, the two men are faced with the terrible reality that their son truly is far too much like his mother. And He's determined to find out the truth behind their strange little family. (Written as a roleplay by M and G!)

Especially Erik. He looks everywhere, then decides to take a risk and search deeper in the country of America. Will he ever find her? Gustave has mixed feelings. First off, a 12 year old shouldn't go through things like missing friends, seeing death, and diving deep into depression. But can one spark of life save Gustave from the darkness he's in? Meg Giry just witnessed her mother's death. Phillip stays by her side, but she now wonders if he'll leave her when he repeatedly forgets her when he does "family matters." Can the one man that made Meg feel as if she's loved shatter her heart? And, let's not forget, everyone's favorite mad scientist is on the loose. And he's angrier than ever. Madness is everywhere. Who will give in, and who will fight against this Insanity?

The story starts at the end of Love Never Dies, or LND, the sequel to The Phantom of the Opera. You may want to read this after you at least read the Wikipedia page or listened to the soundtrack. Switching between Erik's and Gustave's point of view, it tells the story of what happens after Christine died. Gustave learns some disturbing secrets about his true father. Then, the story takes place eight years later with Gustave going through some family initiation where he, Erik, Madame Giry, Meg, and Miss Fleck bump into an old friend. We then travel thirty-one years to 1919 to deal with some unfinished business. QUICK NOTE: THE FOLLOWING CHARACTERS I DO NOT OWN: ERIK DESTLER, CHRISTINE DAAE, VICOMTE(?) A Phantom of the Opera fan falls into a world that she can partially recognize from her favorite movie. She has the chance to save the Phantom for his solitude. The almost inaudible rustling of fabric made me stop still. I stared at the little patch of light for a moment, almost shaking my head at his amateur mistake. Turning carefully, I looked back down the passageway. He was looking at the letter in shock, and when his glowing eyes wandered up to find me watching him two hundred yards ahead, he caught his cloak and, flicking it in a wide arc, disappeared into the darkness behind him. "Au revoir, mon Ange," I whispered, turning away again and suppressing a smile. "Or should I say, salut?" ~•~•~•~■~•~•~•~ In which Christine de Changy, the mother of two young boys, receives a letter from her long-lost Angel, written over five years prior, and loses herself in written correspondence with him, without her husband's knowing consent. COMPLETED. A quick read for any Phantom phans who have read the Leroux book and want to cry even more.

We all are lead to assume that before the events of the Phantom of the Opera, Christine was taught by the angel in the mirror. But that's not what happened. Well, not exactly. Before Hannibal, Christine Daae had always dreamed of being able to sing, but had never had the proper training to realize her dream- that is, until she came across an advertisement and soon became an apprentice to a mysterious tutor. Meanwhile, the Phantom wrought havoc upon the theatres of Paris, with a plan in mind.

Erik has always desired to be kissed, so when Nadir tells him about ASMR kissing videos, Erik leaps at the chance to listen. Maybe he'll finally learn what a kiss (kind of) feels like! Maybe life will turn out better than he could ever dream. (The upside down cover is actually my cat. LOL!)

Christine chose the man she loved, the phantom. Together will they be able to fight through the past that haunts them?
