Steamy Angsty Buckvie

This story revolves around Fleetwood Mac starting during the Rumours era and going beyond. However, it does not tell the story of Stevie Nicks shooting daggers with her eyes across the stage to her former lover Lindsey Buckingham it focuses on the second couple sharing the stage with them. This story focuses on Christine and John McVie. As we all know their marriage was very much in debris by 1975 and eventually ended in divorce in 1978. My little fic here is all about 'What if not?' What if they had found a way to pull themselves together and made it work, continuing to stay the couple they never could be? This story also brings forth a character that could be all of us, and you might find a little bit of yourself in her. This story is obviously based on real life human beings that actually existed and still exist. This story however, although based on true events, is purely fictitious. While I did try my best to stay true to the real life characteristics of the people I'm writing about all the events described here have been conjured up by me and are not in any way real. Some characters in this story are not real either and purely a figment of my imagination. I hope you enjoy this little fic about a very underrated couple that I feel is deserving of more recognition, as it is my opinion, that the bond they shared was far greater than they ever let us believe. {side note: English isn't my first language so apologies if some things sound strange}

In 1997, after The Dance tour, Fleetwood Mac's Christine McVie 'retired'-- leaving the band and her former life behind to move to Kent, England, where she eventually divorced her second husband, and lived in a bit of isolation. Eventually, needing a holiday, Chris flew to Maui, where she and her dear friend and ex-husband, John, spent time together at his little house in Lahaina. This story-- a mixture of a lot of facts and obviously some fiction!-- delves into the couple's history in Fleetwood Mac, chronicling their difficult split and the close relationship that followed. The bond between them truly lasted all of their lives.

Christine has a secret, and it's something she struggled to deal with her whole life. Things were going swell, a healing process for the band but for Stevie and Lindsey there was some trouble dealing with their past. An unexpected kind of love happens between Christine and Stevie, confusing and questioning herself Stevie realized that Destiny never lies, but will she follow destiny of love's path? Or continue to work out and fix her past with Lindsey? It is all Destiny vs Second Chances. Note: Please know not everything in this story will be as accurate like it is in the real life stories, so if if you see something that isn't a real thing, it isn't because I don't know, after all it is a fanfiction, right? Plot: The things in the band are difficult. Mac is in LA to record a new album when Mick is brining some old friends to the studio. Things are going pretty crazy.
