When he's out of town and strobe, stuck at the course house, he turns to Mitchum who sends Honor and Logan. A friendship begin for Rogan that turns to dating but no labeled relationship after Rory's 18 and Logan's 20. The change occurs the weeks before Rory graduate high school. Lorelai wants Rory to give Dean another chance or a guy like Dean a chance or even not be so harsh on Jess. This story however is mainly Emily & Richard's relationship with Rory as well as Strobe, Francine and Christopher building one with Rory . Rory getting ready to start her sophomore year of high school Strobe & Francine win joint custody of Rory. Lorelai has no recourse this time. Rory comes to Chilton when the school year starts thanks to strings pulled by Strobe. Rory's not behind in her school work (AU factor).
