After Lin and the crew are supposedly done with Hamilton, they have a sort of goodbye party to their career in the theatre, at least concerning the show. Little do they know that they are not done. At all. Lin, Leslie, Daveed, Oak, and Chris get a little immature at the bar and drink a little too much Sam Adams... or something, and once they get to Lin's house to finish their little party, driven by the only sober ones, Phillipa and Anthony, they get into the props Lin had there and Daveed finds the pistol Leslie held during the duel scene and pulls the fake trigger. The aftermath may change everyone's lives for better or worse. Note: This is a fic I started on another site in 2017 and haven't updated since. I decided to put it here and continue it. Chapters 1-4 are prewritten and do not reflect my skills as of now. The writing style will shift to my current one once chapter 5 is released. I hope you enjoy. What if the characters from the famous broadway musical Hamilton were met with 21st Century problems? (All rights to the play and music goes to Lin-Manuel Miranda. The plot belongs to me)

Beckett Mark and Anthony Ramos had known each other their whole lives-- born two weeks apart, growing up in the same Brooklyn apartment complex, and sharing weekly visits to the local bakery together. The two children were bonded at the hip, one never too far from the other. However, when Beckett's father leaves their family high and dry her mother makes the hard decision to move the small family back to her Ohio hometown. So at the age of ten Anthony and Beckett were torn apart from one another, leaving one another with the promise to always be best friends. Like many childhood promises theirs doesn't seem meant to last. Within only a year the pair of friends lose touch with one another and continue to go about their own lives. As the years go by Beckett finds herself facing more struggles and heartbreak than she ever thought possible but nevertheless finds herself back in New York once again as a young adult, clueless to the fact that the boy she once called a friend is still in the city too.
