They entered that realm but never returned. 30 years later, their son, Blaze, along with help of Ethan and Mira, manages to get the portal working. Blaze, with one goal in his mind, is on his way of finding his parents. Unfortunately, once they open the portal to the void, the portal starts to malfunction. As a result, 5 negative energies escape the void and enter the human world. Now it is up to Blaze and his friends to find and defeat those negative energies before they take over the world. Ethan and Mira tell Blaze about the prototype project that his parents started working on 30 years ago. Now, Blaze is ready to take the challenge and lead his team of humans named Ishiro, Terra, Ivy and Bolt. Together the 5 of them are "Element Sentai Chroma Squad". Even dying cannot stop them from achieving what they want.
