Hii! This story is a mix of Oneshots and longer parts all relating to chronic illness including CFS/ME, POTS and Long Covid. These illnesses aren't named in all of the parts but most of the symptoms and things are based off them <3 I've had some stories about chronic illness sitting in my notes app for a while but never had the courage to post them until now. I got a little inspired by another writer who writes beautiful stories about chronic illness including Tim and Lucy. So if you want to check them out to here is their user! @kylerR824 Anywho hope you enjoy!!!

"But you don't look sick?" That's what they always say... What they don't see is the exhaustion and pain that I've learnt to hide. Having a chronic illness means having to exist in a body that's so unpredictable, complex, and constantly fighting against me. Through personal experiences, and honest reflections, I'm sharing what life is really like behind closed doors. If you've ever felt dismissed misunderstood or invisible, you are not alone!

I wrote down everything I wished I could say, cut out the important bits and stuck them to my bedroom wall. These little bits of diary quotes and poetry are building up, and I felt like I wanted to share them with the world. So, here are the words on my wall.

Ever wanted to know what its like being Autistic in Canada? Or wanted to walk in the shoes of a chronically ill person for a day (probably not)? You've come to the right place! I'm Kody, an autistic person with an unknown chronic illness (probably POTS). I have tons of special interests, and I want to have a career where I help people in the future, like a cop, or therapist. Or a teacher! I'm asexual and genderqueer, and I'm usually not afraid to say it in public!

How difficult can it be to consummate a marriage of convenience? More than you might imagine. Derrick Williams had his life as the Duke of Chesterton planned out when he arrived at the reading of his father's will. An unexpected condition on the title reunites him with Angie, a childhood friend, in a marriage of convenience, and he dares to make new plans for the future. But Angie's life is ruled by her frail health, a weakness that makes her future anything but certain. Will Derrick and Angie be overcome by all that threatens to keep them apart, or will they find happiness together despite their circumstances?

Adventures In Red - Cause I still got a lot of Fight left in Me... Just a little blog, because it's not easy to be a twenty-something...let alone a twenty-something with...eugh...disabilities. This is just my little corner. If you read and find some joy or hilarity, or relate to it, even better. It will be a collection of short essays, poems, and maybe short stories, to highlight the struggles of being considered imperfect in a society obsessed with perfection. The Below hashtags are wonderful campaigns that support the voice of minority groups - such as those with disability - on Wattpad.
