Rough summary: >The Port Mafia was in a state of panic as they were attacked by an enemy which, surprising, was way too strong for them. Looking at the situation and how many men and co-workers were lost, Chuuya knew what he had to do. He sacrificed himself and used corruption without Dazai near to stop him. Kouyou only found out and called Dazai when Chuuya was almost dying. When Dazai arrived, he knew he was too late and just held Chuuya in his arms until his last breath. After Chuuya's death, Dazai had fallen into a deep state of depression and was bounded to his bed even though the agency members tried their best to help him. It was finally Chuuya's birthday, he would've been twenty-three now-if he were still alive, that is. Dazai got up from his bed and did what he had been waiting for. Later that day, he hung himself.

The Demon Prodigy is said to be cold, indifferent to a point where they say he is almost... "inhuman". Even in the Armed Detective Agency, Dazai hadn't gotten too attached to anyone, even if he was quite close to Atsushi, who he'd brought into the Agency for reasons only he knew, Kunikida, his current partner, Ranpo and Yosano, both of whom intrigued him (Ranpo because of his intelligence, and Yosano because of her nature). Chuuya Nakahara got into an argument with his partner, Osamu Dazai. Now, he's riding his motorbike through Yokohama as a way to cool off.
