MARCUS TULLIUS CICERO, ["Quid, quod adventu tuo subsellia vacuefacta sunt?"] ["What is your arrival seats empty?"] Early Life. - Marcus Tullius Cicero, the foremost Roman orator and writer, was born Jan. 3, 106 B.C. His birthplace was Arpinum, a small country town about seventy miles southeast of Rome, famous also as the birthplace of Marius. His father, a member of the equestrian order, was descended from a family of old standing. Quintus, a younger brother of Marcus, became a praetor at Rome, and afterwards won distinction as one of Caesar's lieutenants in Gaul. The two brothers were early taken to Rome and placed under the care of the best instructors. One of these was Archias, the Greek poet, whose citizenship the orator defended in later years before Quintus, when the latter was presiding judge. The Character of Cicero. - Historians vary greatly in their estimate of Cicero. Perhaps it is nearest the truth to say that he had many weaknesses but much strength. He was emotional, vain, sensitive. As a statesman he made many mistakes. He failed to grasp the supreme problems of his time. He lacked force, will, and aim. He was vacillating in the civil war, but his choice of affiliation had to be made between two evils. That he was a patriot there can be no doubt. His greatest desire was to save and free the republic. That he was honest and incorruptible is shown in his provincial administration. He was a man of peace and honor, pure in life and purpose, and sympathetic with the oppressed. A biographer well says: "His fidelity to his prudent friend Atticus, his affection to his loyal freedman Tiro, his unfailing courtesy toward his wife Terentia, the love he lavished upon his daughter Tullia, his unworthy son Marcus, and his sturdy brother Quintus, stand forth in striking contrast to the coldness of the typical Roman of his day!'

Forced to spend some time away from the guild, Jade wonders about looking for work and comes across a strange-looking imperial man. He claims to be transporting his deceased mother, but is there more behind this story? After the encounter, Jade becomes kidnapped. Will she have what it takes to make it out alive? Kill or be killed, enter into Skyrim's Dark Brotherhood. Disclaimer: I don't own any characters, all rights belong to Bethedsa's Elder Scroll V: Skyrim. Author's Note: Alright, second Skyrim fanfiction! I know a lot of people like Cicero, so I thought I'd attempt to make a story. Cicero actually scares the mess out of me, so I'll see what I can do. Hopefully the Night Mother bestows some advice onto her Listener. Hail Sithis! (Sorry, I suck at description things) Prequel: To Walk With Ebonmere (Completed) Sequel: Secret of Labyrinthian (WIP) Shadows of Sovngarde (Will Come Eventually)

Another text-generated poem is cross-out. The Method is simple itself. All you need is a newspaper column (or other text), and a nice dark felt-tip pin. (and/or any writing utensil) The author basically designs his/her work but choosing out parts of the text (like words or phrases but not more than a sentence long) from numerous areas of the text that would go in oder. (in other words choose/do it from top to bottom) Then you would circle whatever pieces (snip-it's out of your text) you've chosen and draw a line from each word . (whatever pieces you choose from your text) Finally with the pieces of the text (that you didn't choose/want) you draw designs/color in that area/those areas so that you end up with only clearly seeing your words you've chosen from your text. You should end up with something like I have (but with different words chosen) This price is called "Living Standards". ---------------------- Enjoy it? Then you should comment, like or share my 1st pice of this poetry

We all know and love (well...) a ludicrous jester named Cicero. We all remember him being part of the multitudinous adventures with the Dragonborn. Things have turned around now; the Dragonborn is now a fat cat and lives in a mansion on top of a hill and consumes the sweet, savoring sweet rolls (prepared by the Gourmet ) and eats them with his favorite drinking buddies, the Whiterun Guards. Cicero? Ever since the Dragonborn left him in the dust, the jester inhabited an abandoned giant in the middle of a gargantuan forest. Cicero eventually gets bored and decides to set out on an adventure and to hopefully get recruited into the Companions, the Bards college, or even sneak his way back into the Dark Brotherhood! Things don't go well- oh for Greybeards' sake, just read the story!

This is just a one shot story of my OC Jet and Cicero. I wanted to make something cute and skinny. I might add more one shots to this. But I will not promise anything, since I'm still working hard on my ongoing fanfic Night of the Hunter, which is also a Skyrim fanfic about my OC Jet.
