Bir süre gözgöze kaldıklarında ikisi de bu bakışta bir şey olduğunun farkındaydı. İkisi de adı ne bilmiyordu, ama başka bir şeydi. Heyecandı, belki umut, belki de şefkatti. Cihan gözlerini Alya'dan alamıyorken kafasından bu hissi anlamlandırmaya çalışıyordu. Sonrasında ne yaptığını fark edip bakışlarını kaçırdı, oturduğu yerden ayaklandı. "Ben daha fazla tutmayayım sizi, iyi geceler." Alya da karşısındaki kişi kalkınca gözlerinin daldığını fark etmiş, ama şu an yüzündeki ifadeye müdahale edememişti. "Ben de geçiyordum zaten. İyi geceler." Cihan arkasını dönmüş kapıya yürürken arkadan gelen "Alya ben bu arada." sesiyle gülerek vücudunu arkaya çevirdi. "Cihan, memnun oldum." Alya'ysa o sırada sarhoş haliyle kafa selamı vererek gülmesine karşılık verdi. Birkaç saniye daha birbirlerine baktıktan sonra kapılarını kapattılar.

"Nice place," he said, voice low, smooth with a slight rasp. Alya hadn't moved. Her heart stuttered in her chest, and for a moment, she couldn't speak. Cihan was here, in this house, in her space, and the air already felt different. Denser. Sharper. She swallowed. "Hoş geldin." Cihan's gaze lingered a beat longer before he nodded. "Good to see you, Doctor Hanim." And just like that, her spine straightened. She wasn't Boran's wife at that moment, she was herself again. A woman with a name and a mind and a history that hadn't been erased." -mature content in later chapters. - An AU CIHAL storyline -Alya thought she married a man full of charm and promise. But Boran isn't the husband he once was - secrets, control, and dangerous shipments have replaced his laughter. When Cihan, Boran's older brother, returns, Alya finds someone who sees her strength instead of silencing it. But with every glance and every stolen moment, the line between loyalty and desire begins to blur. Caught between a crumbling marriage, a criminal empire, and a forbidden pull she can't deny, Alya must decide what , and who, she's willing to risk everything for.

So um... how do I start this? Well, I'd like to tell you that this is a fanfic about CihAl-the main lead actors from the Turkish series Uzak Şehir. This story is entirely my own; nothing here is meant to resemble the actual series. I just loved the chemistry between the actors and the first glimpses of the show so much that I felt inspired to continue it in my own way. I hope you enjoy it!
