After losing her husband in a tragic accident, Alya tries to rebuild her life in Toronto while raising her young son, Deniz, on her own. Before his death, Boran made her promise something unexpected: if she ever needed help, she should reach out to his brother, Cihan, a man who lives in Mardin and whom she barely knows. Determined to move forward alone, Alya keeps the number without imagining that one day it could change the destiny of her life... and her son's.

Kintsukuroi is the art of repairing broken pottery with gold, honoring faults instead of hiding them, and my inspiration for this piece. After the bloody wedding, Albora falls silent, Alya and Deniz disappear, and Cihan searches until the trail suddenly disappears. This is a S3 AU about loss and the kind of love that's strong enough to embrace flaws, instead of trying to erase them.

So um... how do I start this? Well, I'd like to tell you that this is a fanfic about CihAl-the main lead actors from the Turkish series Uzak Şehir. This story is entirely my own; nothing here is meant to resemble the actual series. I just loved the chemistry between the actors and the first glimpses of the show so much that I felt inspired to continue it in my own way. I hope you enjoy it!
