Ryu is the ultimate survivor of a ruined Remnant. In his timeline, Salem won the battle. The world is a barren wasteland choked by ash and overrun by endless hordes of Grimm. One by one, the legendary Huntsmen fell. Raised in the shadows by a guilt-ridden, Ruby, Sol was trained not to be a heroic Huntsman, but as a survivor, but due to unfortunate's events Ryu's life is forever changed.

You were a huntsman-in-training and went to the infamous Beacon Academy. You were strong on your own, and you led a strong team with teammates who could handle themselves. Unfortunately for you however, you never discovered your semblance yet. All you could do in a fight was rely on tactics and battle on with a sword that was passed down from your father who had died, leaving you alone as your mother had died as well. You were dating the infamous team RWBY, who was popular all over Beacon, just as you were. One day though, a shocking truth befell you as you were returning from a solo mission to see that they have betrayed your heart, and cheated on you with your teammates. In your rage, you went to the Forever Falls forest and disappeared, leaving a hurt team RWBY, and guilty team. One day, an entire continent is wiped out, and no one knows who it is who attacked. RWBY is watching the news in the cafeteria is filled with students who join them. A massive explosion occurs in central Vale and all students are at the edge of Beacon, where they see one being floating over the flames that cover Vale. ???: I have returned Vale, to claim justice against those who wronged so long ago. Team RWBY, witness my power that befalls you all, for Justice....is absolute.

Together, they will find that there is untapped strength in Remnant that wants no part of either side's goals, and is willing to carve their own path.

Since Desmond Royal was a child he searched for a meaning. He preferred a life of excitement, action, heroism and passion. After his mother and father died during a mission gone wrong leading to their bodies being never recovered, he swore on their graves that he'll become a Huntsman and continue their legacy. Unknown to Desmond, he is apart of an ancient species long lost to Remnant known as the Dragons. Follow the story of Desmond Royal and Team DRGN as they fight alongside the future protectors of Remnant, Team RWBY lead by Ruby Rose as they fight against the wicked forces that threaten their world, while also discovering secrets long forgotten by Remnant.
