Cinnia lives in the small pirate port of Dur'reth with her shameful mother. At age nineteen, it seems as if life has already given her her destiny: to live and serve as the loyal wife of the local innkeeper's creepy son. However, Cinnia has a desire for adventure and excitement; for freedom. Determined to find her father, a renowned pirate, and of whom she has no recollection of, she makes a spur-of-the-moment decision to sneak aboard the Night Marauder, a visiting pirate ship with the hope of becoming one herself. She is soon drawn into a raunchy world of deceit, lies, and violence; a world of pirates, exclusive to men.
