The Saderan Empire stands at the height of its power.
Its legions have crushed enemies, its banners fly over conquered lands, and Emperor Molt Sol Augustus rules an empire convinced that there is little left in the world capable of challenging it.
Then, without warning, everything stops.
Emperor Molt, Princess Piña, Prince Zorzal, the Rose-Order of Knights, senators, generals, soldiers, nobles, and others from across the Special Region are torn from their lives and transported to a strange theater by an unknown force.
They aren't prisoners.
They aren't there to fight.
They are there to watch.
The screen before them will show their future-a future beginning with the appearance of a mysterious Gate connecting their world to another.
Beyond it lies what appears to be an opportunity for conquest.
New lands. New riches. New subjects.
So naturally, Sadera invades.
There is only one problem.
On the other side of the Gate stands the Imperial Commonwealth Federation, an enormous superpower spanning much of Asia and the Pacific, armed with technology the Saderans cannot comprehend and protected by a military unlike anything their legions have ever encountered.
And seated at the heart of it all is Jin Amatsukami, the Immortal Emperor of Japan.
Now Sadera must sit helplessly and watch as its future unfolds before its eyes.
They will witness decisions they have not yet made.
Wars they have not yet fought.
People they have not yet met.
They will discover what becomes of themselves, their families, their Empire-and what happens when a civilization accustomed to conquering others chooses an opponent it knows absolutely nothing about.
For the first time, Sadera will see its future.
Whether they learn from it is another matter entirely.
