This fanfiction is about an AU where the members are all friends and performers at the same circus in the real world! Pomni: Clown Ragatha: Ragdoll act (dressing up and acting like a ragdoll) Jax: "Controls" Ragatha (pretends to throw her around), Contortionist Gangle & Zooble: Adagio Kinger: Miming (he's also a semi-famous chess player on the side because why wouldn't he be a chess player) I want to give them human names. However, I feel like that'd just feel like it wasn't a tadc AU and just a circus story. If you'd like me to give them names, I might do a poll! The main ships in this are Jesterdoll (Ragatha x Pomni) and Abstragedy (Gangle x Zooble) and some Checkmate (Kinger x Queenie) considering they're canon

Ever since Zenitsu Agatsuma was young, he had been mesmerized by the circus. The black and white humans who could paint words with their hands, the inhumane who could seemingly eat fire, and the walkers in the sky. Ever since he had seen his first circus, he had kept coming back to see ones all over the world, hoping to join this magical world of freaks. But he never could. Everyone he went to turned him away. They said he was too much of a normal person. He had no talent. Nothing that could define him a place in this trivial world of abnormal beings. Still, he threw himself at every single circus he saw. He begged ringmasters, pestered acrobats, and did everything he thought possible just to get one chance to be in the ring. Until finally, when he aged 19, he got accepted. To the Slayers of Demons Circus Organization. And it was a dream come true. He knew that he would have to find a talent to define him. He expected to fall flat on his face trying to do a one handed cartwheel. But what he didn't expect, was to get drawn in by a kind hearted, red head, tightrope walker, along with a boar masked contortionist. Together they find each other in the wild, mystical, magical, world called the circus.

The contortionist twisted themselves around the velvet roped dangling from a crane. The sword swallower worked carefully, pulling a silver dagger from her throat. The magician worked alone in a corner, pulling a white dove from their undershirt's sleave, then putting in into a rusted bird cage. The trapeze artist spun on a blue silk, doing flips above the giant's head, poking his nose and cheeks with each few turns. The ring leader paid no mind to the crew of freaks, or the abundance of nondescript vehicles passing by as the hot day wavered on.

Gerard has been a lion tamer at a traveling circus for years. But he stays cheery and still smiles every day. However, Gerard notices his joy slowly being taken from him, and gloom starting to follow him around more and more. He's been becoming secretive as well. What's been going on? And why is he never around? This worries Gerard and makes him start to ponder what's really happening behind closed doors.
