The original story, characters, and elements belong to Darren Shan. Make sure you read his original work and some of his other books! The story I wrote is to see how the story would've been different if Larten Crepsley took on two vampire assistants at the same time. Lots of twists and turns to uncover throughout this fanfiction. I will not be going word for word in most of the scenes and will be adding my own style of writing. Please make sure to support Darren Shan by reading his original books. A compilation of the events that happened within welcometomylair's Cirque Du Freak fanfiction, The Lying Saga. With her permission I expanded upon the events that were mentioned in passing withing the prologue of her story. There are four scenes, plus an extra one that I wrote as an afterthought.

In that moment, young Larten flies into a rage that the foreman wouldn't survive. Forced on the run, he sleeps in crypts and eats cobwebs to get by. And when a vampire named Seba offers him protection and training as a vampire's assistant, Larten takes it. This is his story.

After 2 people abandon a baby girl a certain snake boy finds her and brings her to the Cirque Du Freak. But there is an issue. She is growing too quickly. It is up to Evra to find out what is going on and to stop it before his adopted daughter dies.

Larten is very exhausted from trying to hunt down Murlough who is threatening his hometown. Larten begins to neglect himself, but a stormy night prevents him from going out, allowing him to take care of his personal needs. He relaxes and explores his body.
