The RoT, formerly and always known as Tejas were the owners of those stories. She was the territory Spain had conquered, she was the one who won the war against her oppressing brother, she was the one who ran the Republic. This is her story, the story lost in time. The story hidden from the others. The true story of Texas. A story that is finally ready to be shared to the others. ======================== I wanted to make a Texas backstory for a while and I decided why not, so yeah. This story may contain violence and abuse so I'll put warnings before each chapter. Also this is an RoT (Republic of Texas) backstory so in my AU, RoT and Texas are not the same person. I'm also going to try to make this as historically accurate as possible. Enjoy!

Look at the title :) Oneshots with some headcanons sprinkled in, mostly centered around whatever brain vomit I spit out next, though I take requests too. This is my first time doing this, so bear with me (if you even want to). A short summary (without major spoilers, obv) and some info you need for reading (though that is an exception, most can be read without previous knowledge) are at the start of each chapter/oneshot, along with the wordcount and trigger warnings for sensitive topics. If you see that I've missed something, please tell me. First three chapters are not a story, entertainment starts with chapter four.
