From a small town to L.A. Haley got an incredible Opportunity, with dreams of the city of angels, haley wanted to get her big break as she was close to chasing her dreams. Her only problem would be to leave everything behind, her job, family, and friends. Haley's family knew how much this meant to her- by pitching in she got to chase her dreams but at what cost? the question remained though. How far are you willing to go to pursue your dreams?

City of Angels

When 20 year old Rivers finds herself starting over she has an important choice she has to make. Move to Washington state and start completely fresh and off grid. Or, move to the City of Angels and create a new name for herself. Theres just.. one little catch. She's not human. What happens when she falls in love with a mortal boy with the last name of Dobre?

Alex lives in New York. He doesn't want to move to L.A, but when he does, he meets his YouTube idols; the Dolan Twins. After a seemingly benign injury, he can judge people's moods instantly and has awesome motor skills. But because of a botched injection, his genes mutate and his brain starts to deteriorate. "Pray, son. Pray to the Lord Almighty and make as many wishes as you can. You have a year if you're lucky." Alex enters depression soon after, but a golden opportunity appears. That opportunity may be enough to save him. It's either that or a medical miracle. But those never happen, do they?

However, when he meets Kōshi Sugawara, a heart surgeon, Daichi feels something he has never felt before. But he doesn't know what it is. This is based on the movie "City of Angels", and the characters are from the anime "Haikyuu". Also, this is my second story, so I hope you guys enjoy reading!

A short story about an angel named Noah and a heart surgeon which was obviously a human named Iris. Lots of struggle but managed to come up with one decision for a reason. This story is inspired by the song "Iris" by Goo Goo Dolls and is very close and similar to the movie "City of Angels", a 1998 film. I'm so amazed of this movie that's why my work is very close and similar to it.
