Keona Lockwood is a spoiled 16 year old girl who lives with her rich father who buys her everything she wants and stepmother she hates. Since the incident of her real mother dying, Keona let's nobody say her first name and has everybody call her Emily instead in an attempt to never hear her real name again. One day her stepmother and her father tell Keona they will be moving out to the countryside and out of the city hoping it will be a good change for them. There, Keona meets Jay who is a normal, country like boy that she meets on accident while lost in the new town. How will Keona react to her new home, school, and possibly crush?
