This story takes place in the late 1800's and the early 1900's in the U.S.. This story is about a fifteen year old girl named Elisa, who had been abandoned by her family along with her small three year old brother Mark. Elisa had been struggling to care for her younger brother and herself since she was unavle to get a full and complete job because of her age. Her younger brother loved the circus and back when their parents and older brother were still around they all would go to the circus as a family. But Elisa Hated it due to her knoledge of what the enployees do to the animals both outside the ring and inside the ring. Elisa had also noticed that most of the animals she saw were'nt even in science and Biology study books that she had once read in school. In the first chapter Elisa get's a job at the circus. Though she doesn't know what the job is. Being as desperate as she was because her younger brother had become ill and she couldn't afford a cure. What will happen next and who is the Ringmaster and his strange minion that carries a pendant and only speaks its name?
