It has been a whole month but Clementine has just returned to Richmond with AJ as she is especially happy to be back with the Garcia family. But she begins to feel weird around Gabe. Suddenly she starts to blush around the Mexican boy her age and begin to find him charming and cute. She then realizes that she actually has a crush on Gabe and begins to regret it. She always determined herself to never get too close to someone rather than AJ. But it does not take long for her to come to terms with her feelings while at the same time Gabe starts to feel the same way about her. Can young love truly exist and survive in a world of death?

As a sequel to "Reunited: A Gabentine Story", this story takes place jut two months after the end of the first book as Clem and Gabe spend most of their time either belong out the community or especially taking care and raising their children. But when Alexandria gets attacked by a group of raiders, they and their friends are back on the road until they come across a new community called, "The Safe Haven". After this Clem and Gabe take it amongst themselves to do whatever it takes to protect their children, themselves, and each other.

It's been four years since the New Frontier and Clem has been on the road with AJ for quite a while. Richmond was gone so she just took AJ and it's just been the two of them ever since. But when she and AJ become part of a new group of kids at a boarding school. Clem will begin making connections with new people there. She doesn't trust anyone there until she Reunited with Gabe who is the only one other than AJ that she does trust. Will their reconnection lead to an actual relationship or will the horrificness of their world keep them from doing so.
