Clary fray has just moved with her mother and stepdad Luke to New York as her mother was transferred there for work. Her life is going fine until she meets her new schools most popular guy, jace lightwood and what will happen when one of his friends has his eyes on her?

Valentine died in the mortal war and Clary has always known about the shadow world, but they didn't know about her... This fanfic in an alternative beginning to the mortal Instruments series. I used some aspects from the original books and mashed it with my own story. I don't own any of the characters or any other aspects of this story, it's purely fan fiction. Clary Fray had an average life. She had a cool best friend that was always there for her, an awesome brother, and amazing parents. She was an art master, and wasn't afraid to speak her mind. There are a few bumps to this story, though: Her brother is in the hospital, her parents are divorced, and Simon is starting to follow around one of the girls Clary is jealous of: Isabelle Lightwood. When she meets Jace, she's forced to see life differently. She just needs to figure out if this is a good thing. AU/AH. Mainly Clace with mentions of other pairings.

Clary is an average high school girl. She's not that popular until her best friend Izzys adopted brother sleeps with her.
