Hi everyone! It has been a while since the first story and I am back with a new one. This story was already completed last year, around the same time as "Saving Us". This was actually inspired by a one shot that I read. The chapters are much longer than that of "Saving Us". It was not my intention 🙈. I hope that you enjoy it. ❤️❤️ The Writer Elena Castillo is not exactly someone who is eager to date and is annoyed with her grandmother (or as she affectionately calls her, Grams), who constantly tries to set her up on dates. She is even more annoyed when her Grams is in hospital and attempts to set her up with a particularly attractive doctor....

Shaun has learned many ways to cope with sensory overload on the road to fulfil his dream of being a surgeon but everybody has bad days eventually. It was inevitable and he knew logically it would happen when he was at work. He just hadn't factored in that those around him want to help.

Claire Browne is a resident at St. Jose Saint Bonaventure Hospital in San Diego, California working under attending and one of the best senior surgeons Neil Melendez. He was arrogant, egotistical, and strong minded but his stern personality came with a caring attitude towards all of his residents. Things were going the way that they always have, until Claire started spending a lot more time with Dr. Melendez. Feelings will be involved, hearts will be tested, time is of the essence.

This story is based on the television series titled The Good Doctor, the difference is that in this story it is a shippeo between Dr. Neil Meléndez and Dr. Claire Browne. What happens when you realize that you begin to have feelings towards your chief of surgery and he also has them towards you, because this story is about how Acosta will live his love for everything and what others think about his love. Postscript: I love this series and I have realized that here there are not many about this series and less about this shippeo that I love so much so enjoy.

This picks up from where Season 3 left off. It is an alternative ending to the earthquake scenario and what happens after. I thought I should add a glimmer of hope, as we never got the ending that we wanted and that these characters deserved. I hope that you enjoy it. ❤️❤️ Lots of love The Writer

Because I refuse to watch the last episode of season 3 or any episodes after that one. These are one-shots of Claire Browne and Neil Melendez because they deserved better, so I will create my own reality of their relationship. All these chapters are one-shots, which means that they will not be related to each other unless it says so. Therefore, you can also just skip around to the ones you want to read. They will be put on Archive of Our Own when I get my invite as well, as that seems to be the place for Melendaire fanfics:)

Writer's introductory note: Hi everyone. If you have stumbled your way across this story, you are likely a fan of "The Good Doctor" and especially Neil Melendez & Claire Browne. This is my version of an alternate ending, of season 3. This is for everyone who, like me, finds refuge in such beautiful love stories like Melendaire, as an escape. Neil & Claire own an irreplaceable place in my heart and this story is my love for them, worded and put together, for you all. Writing this gave me peace as I convinced myself of a different story for them (from the one we got which I will personally never acknowledge), and I hope this alternate ending, reminds you of them in happy and peaceful ways. {P.S. Jackson finds out that he has a younger half sister. She's a doctor at San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital. That doctor is none other than Dr. Claire Browne. Claire was shocked because she's been lied to her whole life by her mother and the man she thought was her father. Jackson wants Claire to be part of their legacy but Claire doesn't want to nor does she care about the money. She also doesn't want anything to do with her biological father or her brother but they won't give up. I don't own Grey's Anatomy or The Good Doctor or the Characters.
