My name is Marie. And at the beginning of the summer of 1941, my life turned upside down and into a nightmare. My mother and my father, killed by fake Germans. My sister, sent to an orphanage where I was sure I would never see her again. But I, Marie Darwin, had not the incredible luck that she had. I was taken to a place of horror, where death meets life and everything is frozen in time.
