But what happens when she meets someone whose two lives are way more disparate than hers? Find out in this Daredevil AU. ;) - Disclaimers: The events of Marvel's Daredevil (the Netflix series) explain Matt's powers and friendships, but in this Alternate Universe, things are a bit different. 1) Fisk and his operation don't exist (yet). 2) Foggy knows about his friend's abilities. 3) Matt has not yet met Claire. 4) Matt and Foggy haven't met Karen yet. 5) And many more that you'll soon discover! Anyone like the characters from the Netflix Defenders franchise? Cause that's what I'm dishing out with this book. All Defenders characters belong to Marvel.

Waking up in hospital sucked. Waking up in hospital without a clue of what happened to get him there was worse. Finding everyone thinking he apparently dreamed up the events of the past year, while being in a coma for three months, was... paralyzing. And things were only about to get worse from there.

... or what might and might not happened. Crack. There is no better word for it. Probably not even a screenplay. There are like millions of Matt meeting the Avengers fics out there, so... my short and crackish version related to Damned If I Do. Set after chapter 24) ...I'm just giving in Not a standalone. A Defenders fanfic AU full of ships and snarkiness, courtesy of Jessica Jones. Jessica Jones used to live a normal life before she was possessed. After being freed from the demon, she tries to return to her previous life, but she can't. So naturally, she tags along with former Chaste member Matt Murdock, who works as a freelance exorcist in New York. He isn't initially thrilled, but hey she helps him pay the bills. He can't really complain (that much). At least, until they meet Discount Captain America - or rather, Daniel Rand, the heir to Rand Corporation and the current Iron Fist. He needs their help to save K'un-Lun from the demonic presence that is slowly infecting it's residents. Join Jessica, Matt, Danny, Luke, and Claire on their quest to save K'un-Lun before it's too late. Matt x Danny, Claire x Luke, and Jessica x snarkiness. Despite some crack moments, this will be a mostly serious fic with mentions of depression, violence, feels, romance, and swears. And a lot of snarkiness.

I looked at my gloved hands. They were a darker red than usual, soaked through with blood. Dirt and mud stuck to the fabric like a leech latched to a vein. I coughed and a painful sting echoed its way through my throat. My hands reached towards my neck at the abrupt pain. I couldn't help but think, is this how it's going to end? My body felt heavy lying on the ground. Rain poured in the dark New York streets, catching the light of the streetlamp as it splashed onto the ground. I felt myself shiver uncontrollably at the cold as I lied there. The scent of grease found its way to my nose as my head rested on the concrete street. I stifled a cough, turning my head away from the oil stained ground and towards the alley that I had just come from. It was pitch black. No sign of my adversary. I pushed myself up to my knees, hands placed in front of me on the ground. The adrenaline seemed to drain from my system in an instant. My injuries were becoming more evident and I almost doubled over at the overwhelming sensation. "Ah!" I heard my voice escape my mouth as I clutched my side with one hand. Probably a broken rib... Or two. I glanced towards the alley once again, a spike of nervousness spreading through my chest. I kept my eyes towards the darkness as I tenderly got to my feet, worried that my opponent would come finish me off while I was at my weakest. I limped my way out of the street and onto the sidewalk. I leaned against a building for support. I've got to make it back... I've got to tell someone... Black spots danced in front of my eyes and I felt myself fall to the ground. *** Spoilers are included in story. Go see the movie! *** I saw Spider-Man Homecoming in theatres and just absolutley loved it. If you have not yet seen it go see it! This story is a (sort of) continuation of the movie. Thank you Marvel and Tom Holland for creating the perfect Spider-Man on screen!

After the downfall of the Hand and the sudden death of Daredevil, the Defenders were in despair. But what happens when the Man without Fear rises back from the dead in Japan? The Defenders come together once again to find out what happened.

It was just a matter of time before their happy bubble would burst. Things were going too well. The Earth is shaking under their feet and they only have a limited amount of options. In the end, it doesn't matter. Whatever they do, whichever path they choose, they are damned. All roads lead to hell. Matt, Vera and the others are thrown in the middle of The Defenders mess. Set about six months after the epilogue of 'Damned If I Don't', a few weeks after 'Cups'.
