After the supposed "death" of Matt Murdock/Daredevil in Spider-Man: The Defenders, Peter Parker finds himself wanting to be a better hero to honor Matt's 'last request'... "Protect my city". Now Peter must balance school life, hero life, and student life as a new student of Colleen Wing, working to make a fighting style that will utilize Peter's powers to the max, but Peter's life gets complicated, when he meets Coldheart... a murderer out for vengence

Bruce Wayne, SHIELD, and Tony Stark have decided to open an Avengers base in Gotham City. And like any Avengers Base, they need a team. Assembled are six of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Their leader is Barbara Gordon, the Batwoman. Also part of the team is Peter Parker, the Spider-Man. Dinah Lance, the Black Canary. Jessica Jones-Cage, AKA Power-Woman. Piotr Rasputin, AKA Colossus. And Virgil Hawkins, AKA Static. Together, they are the Gotham Avengers! (Sequel to Spider-Man vs. Darkwing)

Waking up in hospital sucked. Waking up in hospital without a clue of what happened to get him there was worse. Finding everyone thinking he apparently dreamed up the events of the past year, while being in a coma for three months, was... paralyzing. And things were only about to get worse from there.

I looked at my gloved hands. They were a darker red than usual, soaked through with blood. Dirt and mud stuck to the fabric like a leech latched to a vein. I coughed and a painful sting echoed its way through my throat. My hands reached towards my neck at the abrupt pain. I couldn't help but think, is this how it's going to end? My body felt heavy lying on the ground. Rain poured in the dark New York streets, catching the light of the streetlamp as it splashed onto the ground. I felt myself shiver uncontrollably at the cold as I lied there. The scent of grease found its way to my nose as my head rested on the concrete street. I stifled a cough, turning my head away from the oil stained ground and towards the alley that I had just come from. It was pitch black. No sign of my adversary. I pushed myself up to my knees, hands placed in front of me on the ground. The adrenaline seemed to drain from my system in an instant. My injuries were becoming more evident and I almost doubled over at the overwhelming sensation. "Ah!" I heard my voice escape my mouth as I clutched my side with one hand. Probably a broken rib... Or two. I glanced towards the alley once again, a spike of nervousness spreading through my chest. I kept my eyes towards the darkness as I tenderly got to my feet, worried that my opponent would come finish me off while I was at my weakest. I limped my way out of the street and onto the sidewalk. I leaned against a building for support. I've got to make it back... I've got to tell someone... Black spots danced in front of my eyes and I felt myself fall to the ground. *** Spoilers are included in story. Go see the movie! *** I saw Spider-Man Homecoming in theatres and just absolutley loved it. If you have not yet seen it go see it! This story is a (sort of) continuation of the movie. Thank you Marvel and Tom Holland for creating the perfect Spider-Man on screen!

He can't really complain (that much). At least, until they meet Discount Captain America - or rather, Daniel Rand, the heir to Rand Corporation and the current Iron Fist. He needs their help to save K'un-Lun from the demonic presence that is slowly infecting it's residents. Join Jessica, Matt, Danny, Luke, and Claire on their quest to save K'un-Lun before it's too late. Matt x Danny, Claire x Luke, and Jessica x snarkiness. Despite some crack moments, this will be a mostly serious fic with mentions of depression, violence, feels, romance, and swears. And a lot of snarkiness.

All the way to California. I went to L.A. with the hopes of being a big star. Let's just say it did not work out to well. By the time I was twenty-five, I was completely broke and my big break had never come. I had no choice but to move home, but I refused to move back to Hell's Kitchen. So I went to live with my cousin Jer-Jer in Manhattan. She was older than me and working for Wendell Rand at Ran Enterprises. So she was well enough off to have a two bedroom apartment that she was willing to share. I was living in Manhattan for a few months when my past finally caught up with me one rainy night. Dropping out of college after two years and an unpleasant break-up, Vera needs a change - so when she gets an opportunity to spend some time in US, she doesn't hesitate and grab it firmly. She wasn't sure what she expected when she decided to do so, but gaining a friend whose middle name should be tornado and meeting this blind guy, who comes to a gym after hours, wasn't on her list. To be honest, an encounter with a masked vigilante wasn't there either.

Matt and Claire have terrific chemistry. By each second they spend together, they grow more comfortable and more loving with one another. But the Devil of Hell's Kitchen has a job to do. And he isn't so sure that having someone as wonderful as Claire by his side will be the wisest decision in such a dangerous and confusing time. Claire isn't even sure of exactly what she wants. What the two of them do know, is that they have now. They can worry about the future, or a lack thereof, later.

After dreaming of an alternate life where he is happy with the love of his life, Matt struggles with the decision to either tell Claire his true feelings or accept reality and move forward.
