Nico is attending morning check-up at a university in Dema when he comes face to face with his worst fear. The new prodigal son, the new Clancy, the new "Hero" of Dema.

Clancy was born with the ability to talk to the dead. He was destined to become a bishop and he attended Dema's most elite academy of magic, where Josh was a servant. Clancy has to learn how to manage his powers, make the voices of the ghosts go quiet when they're too much, and fulfil his destiny. Josh just wants to make money to help his sick father. Soon, Clancy falls in love with the pretty red haired servant, but relationships are forbidden for students like him. Especially with a servant. But when has he ever followed the rules? - - - This is a Clancybearer fic but I've put my own twist on it so it's not 100% lore accurate, but I'm really proud of this one and I really hope you guys like it! This is the sequel to 'The outside'. Clancy and Torchbearer get some devastating news that changes everything.

"It's funny how you think you have no heart when it's clearly beating for me" (This isn't the Liza from the Afterlight) Elizabeth was the bravest and most rebellious of all the blues in her camp. She had a heart of gold and a goal to be free with the other kids. She almost fulfilled that goal- but she sacrificed her safety so those other kids could have a head start. The PSFs kept her trapped in one of their bases- and boy, did they make sure she wasn't getting out. She was there for six more years. Lizzie is now nineteen. She almost gave up hope when she listens to the voice at the back of her head- the negative demon finally drowning out her angel. But there was and explosion, and an there were two intruders. One of them, was unconscious, and the other escaped. She knew what dead looked like, and honestly, what she saw wasn't dead. And what she saw in him was going to change her future. *Before you start- I do not own Alexandra Bracken's The darkest minds trilogy. She is an amazing author and my role model- so I'm just writing fanfiction because well... I'm a fan. This story will not have swearing (it will have astricks to censor it) or that rude stuff. She puts Ruby in intensive training following Ruby's promotion to LARVA, places her on the commission to close the case on the Count and perhaps worst of all assigns Ruby to encrypt the Casey Morgan files with none other than Agent Froghorn. Ruby expects her life to slow down significantly in 1974, but with all her new assignments and an interesting development (to say the least) with an old foe, 1974 is a completely new challenge for Agent Redfort.

He is a citizen of Dema. He is an escapee. He is an exception. He has seen the world outside these imposing walls. He tells me about these people he's seen. He hasn't been able to speak with them yet, but he gets closer with each escape. I'm going to ask him to take me the next time he goes. I want to see these people for myself. In this world, Bishops and their children have markings. Torchbearer is the son of a Bishop, specifically Nills. He thinks that if he and the Banditos get rid of the Bishops then his markings would go away. He is also engaged to Clancy. Clancy has not a clue of Torchbearer's true origin. What would happen if Clancy found out Torchbearer's Bishop markings before he is able to get rid of them? Would Clancy still love him and wish to marry him? the man reached for the yellow bandana covering the lower half of his face, pulling it below his chin. clancy watched in bewilderment as torchbearer revealed himself, sure he had felt his heart stop in his chest. how was that possible? with wide eyes, he glanced to his right where torchbearer should have been, but was only met with an empty space. the anger inside him simmered into a desperate confusion. clancy was sure he was ready to take on anything, but this? this was too much. * a slightly angsty one shot that takes place during/after navigating, before paladin strait.
