"welcome to trench." the leader of the yellow tape covered people said as he walked down the aisle of tents, beautiful yellow flower petals decorating the path as many of the same yellow tape covered people staring at the man who followed him, some nodding, some murmuring, some smiling subtly. tyler didnt feel scared. he didn't feel unsafe or uncomfortable. he knew that dema didnt control him, and that he was about to become a bandito.

My name is Alex Hazel, as assigned by Keons, the Bishop of my District. Like everyone else, I believed it all: that Vialism was the only truth, and that giving up my life was the greatest honour achievable: "to live fully is to sacrifice all". But since I signed The Pact, the oath to give my life for the honour and glory of Vialism at the next Annual Assemblage, something in me changed... Some unbending desire to know what is outside beyond the Wall grew, and some growing doubt that I could not suppress about Dema and its religion that I was brought up in. And then I stumbled across a mysterious man with a journal, and learned a myth of underground rebels called "The Banditos" were in fact not a myth at all, and everything I thought I knew was completely shattered. My take on the Clancy letters from the Dema website run by Twenty One Pilots. (I wrote this before the Pilots got off of their hiatus so just take that into consideration especially with Keos' charcter.) I wrote this for a English paper and I liked how I wrote it.

"The fear and pain shall not be elements that stop us, but what feeds us to persevere." Clancy is a Scribe within the walled city of Dema, a silent, gray place where everything is performed with efficiency and repetition. While he is proud to represent his district amongst the Scribes and relay the history of Dema for future generations, he begins to feel that there is something missing within the city that can only be found outside the walls. Risking everything to escape the perimeters, Clancy realizes that the ravines of Trench can be a dangerous place, especially with the canyon's labyrinthine pathways and the Bishops at his heels. Lianna Higgins and her odd trio of outcasts have been scouting Trench for the better part of three years, hoping to one day liberate the people of Dema themselves, even if it means risking their lives. When Lianna stumbles upon an escapee from Dema fate brings them and Lianna's crew to the Banditos, who themselves are devoted to usurping the Bishops and bring the walls of the gray city down. Lianna doesn't enjoy the Banditos' company - as a matter of fact, she despises their company - but she doesn't have anywhere else to go and the life of a timid young Scribe now rests like a heavy weight on her shoulders. The trial ahead will be hard and neither Clancy nor Lianna are eager to weigh the odds - but joining the Banditos and severing ties with Dema may be the only way for them to survive. Dema was a cruel place, everyone knew that, but no one knew how cruel they could get. Capturing escapees and turning them into human/creature hybrids? Josh and Tyler thought they were free, but the people in red stopped them, took them, turned them into creatures. horrid mutants. the pain they suffered at the hands of the bishops. till one day Tyler was finally free... this is my adaptation of the twenty one pilots lore, so all but the hybrid versions of Josh and Tyler are owned by twenty one pilots. love yall. some scenes may be a bit graphic but there will not be any smut I refuse to write smut. (the cover will be changed i just haven't got around to drawing it yet)

With the re-opening of Task Force Rainbow 6 in light of the new terror threat, came a sense of public safety. Counter-Terrorist Units from across the globe coming together to fight against the White Masks gave everyone hope. The reality of the situation, however, was much darker. Rainbow 6 were no closer to eliminating the threat than they were a year ago when they were recruited.

"It's funny how you think you have no heart when it's clearly beating for me" (This isn't the Liza from the Afterlight) Elizabeth was the bravest and most rebellious of all the blues in her camp. She had a heart of gold and a goal to be free with the other kids. She almost fulfilled that goal- but she sacrificed her safety so those other kids could have a head start. The PSFs kept her trapped in one of their bases- and boy, did they make sure she wasn't getting out. She was there for six more years. Lizzie is now nineteen. She almost gave up hope when she listens to the voice at the back of her head- the negative demon finally drowning out her angel. But there was and explosion, and an there were two intruders. One of them, was unconscious, and the other escaped. She knew what dead looked like, and honestly, what she saw wasn't dead. And what she saw in him was going to change her future. *Before you start- I do not own Alexandra Bracken's The darkest minds trilogy. She is an amazing author and my role model- so I'm just writing fanfiction because well... I'm a fan. This story will not have swearing (it will have astricks to censor it) or that rude stuff. Ok, carry on*

Tyler is alone in the city of Dema. He can't remember who he was before then. All he knows now is trying to survive in this world. He sees others around him who are struggling too, and he wants to help them. But he can't. He can't even seem to help himself. He keeps thinking he sees his best fren, Josh, but he's still not sure if its really him or if the city has finally driven him insane. His life now is nothing but fear. And there doesn't seem to be a way to fix that. Maybe there is...but maybe there isn't. The thing is, he's too afraid to find out. Fear is how they control you. The bishops. They see everything you do. And they want to destroy you. So don't bother fighting. They'll come for you. They'll come for you when you least expect it. Possible trigger warning: self-harm/suicide. This story is about overcoming that and overcoming depression. But it might be triggering to some readers. I'll add trigger warnings to those parts.
