The seventh "instalment" in the Mortal Instruments series. As Simon's memory begins to flood back to him, he is haunted by the past as it resurfaces. As the shadowhunters try console the now suicidal mundane, things from all of their pasts begin to resurface, as well. Except, the only difference is that it is all true. Whilst Simon fights his demons, Clary and her friends battle their own demons, along with a lot of other obstacles they must face.

Valentine died in the mortal war and Clary has always known about the shadow world, but they didn't know about her... This fanfic in an alternative beginning to the mortal Instruments series. I used some aspects from the original books and mashed it with my own story. I don't own any of the characters or any other aspects of this story, it's purely fan fiction. Clary meets Jace at her art exhibition but something seems vaguely familiar about him. As Clary starts having visions her life starts changing. Will she remember her forgotten past with her friends and family or will she deny these unveiled truths and keep living her life as a mortal. All characters belong to Cassandra Clare. I may add a few new characters but not sure yet. This is my first fanfic and I am writing it on an IPhone so if I don't update as often as I would like blame my phone.

One day Clary is sent to the Institute of New York for a unique assignment. Her task is to pose as a Clary Fray, a Shadowhunter whose entire family was killed in the uprising, little did anybody at the institute know, her family initiated the uprising. She is sent there with one mark. Jace Herondale, a boy who Valentine also experimented on but who was saved as a child and taken in at the Institute. Clary's sole mission is to infiltrate the Institute, get close to Jace, find out what he knows about The Circle, The Uprising and the experiments, and then simply take him out. To love is to destroy and to be loved is to be destroyed is what Clary has been brought up with her entire life, so what happens when Clary finds herself falling for her target? Read to find out...

The night before Clary and her Parabatai Isabelle Lightwood are set to depart for their travel year to Mexico, Clary gets some news that changes things for her. 5 years have past and Clary is not the same girl that she was when she left. In fact, she doesn't even know who that person was.

Alec wants to take his boyfriend Magnus to the prom, but Magnus' father doesn't know that Magnus is bisexual. Asmodeus forces the principal of the school Luke to shut down the prom. Magnus wants to come out as bisexual but he is scared of how his father will react and wants to keep his relationship with Alec a secret. But Magnus and Alec are heartbroken the prom isn't happening. Joceyln and her daughter Clary star as a mother daughter duo on Broadway. But when their show fails they are devestated. But Clary finds out that the prom at her old school isn't happening anymore. Because they won't let Alec take his boyfriend. Clary persuades her mother that they can gain their fame back by helping Alec to make the prom happen. But the more Clary gets to know Alec, the more she realizes that his love for Magnus is more important than fame.
