This is a late summer story. And I'm not saying it because I first thought about it around that time but because our main character, Ren, a japanese boy from the countryside is having his most cringe, joyful, hard times around that beautiful time of the year. and it wasn't going to happen if a wrong boy didn't move in to the right place. In this book of mine, I tried to leave more space for things that mutter the most. Like friendship and childhood. Rebecca is a Goth, and she knows it. With an obsession for black, piercings to make a nun faint and a habit of dying her hair odd colours, it's no doubt in anyone's mind that she's not to be crossed. She knows this, and she's fine with it. She's been hurt before and if she acts the way she does, looks the way she looks, no one can get close to hurt her again. What's so bad about that? And so what if her fashion styles a little different? So what if her favourite colours black? Who's it hurting? And so what if she doesn't have any friends? None of that matters in college. Then it's just her. But what if someone tried to break down her walls? What if someone told her jokes, made her laugh? What if someone did what everyone else thought was impossible, and fell in love with Rebecca? What if someone tried to make the queen of ice, melt? And what if, just what if, she ends up falling too?

Names have been used from my other stories (i.e. School's Out Permanently) A young girl finds that a mysterious boy is in her class this year. But she can't figure out why he's so mysterious. She studies him a lot, to find out what is just so mysterious. She takes notes and things like that. After studying for a while, she begins to absentmindedly fall for him. This is a problem, because everyone in her class thinks he is weird and should not be treated humanely. It takes a hole in the woods, some defying of social norms, and some math to help her figure out the real truth about Piero- he's the Class Clown.
