Both players feel a sense of excited anxiety to meet one another again, though one carries more pain than the other. The two will play a game of chess during a cold season in New York while discussing life's pains, challenges and highs. The story covers the deep and beautiful pain of remembering loved ones. How it can also be the source of pain and guilt for some as well. All while told in short play-like story.
