Carmen is a small town girl who grew up in Minnesota. She's never seen the world but dreams of it constantly. The year is 1982, and a strange encounter at the bar with a handsome but extremely forward man causes Carmen to rethink her life standing. Will she take the chance and shoot for her dreams? Or will she do what her family has always wanted her to do with her life? Who is this band and why are they so interested in her? With a little help from her crazy friend Andie, maybe the boring life ahead of her will be turned around.
