Historias de Classwork

Wherein a wannabe-author publishes from the long list of almost all of their short stories since 2017, because a friend told me to. Critique, feedback, etc. is appreciated. They're in approximately chronological order, starting from the earliest since I started saving my work, and ending with my most recent (so you can't make fun of me for the first chapters!!). It will be updated infrequently, but I'll be posting everything readable that I produce. If something needs explanation out-of-story, or if I just feel like interjecting, I'll slot it into the chapter in italicized parenthesis. I've started sharing this with potential employers as a sort of portfolio, so I might be shaping it up to look a little more professional. I am not cutting out old embarrassing work on principle, and I treasure the thumbnail as-is.

A collection of the poems I wrote while I was in high school. Most of them were for assignments in my poetry class, so I had certain requirements for them. Others I wrote for fun. These are old so they may not be the best. Either way, I hope you enjoy! (Poems with * in front of them in the contents below are my personal favorites!) Contents: 1. *The Kennel - An assignment that focused on metaphors and similes. - Trigger Warning (slight reference to suicide) 2. Aftermath - An assignment that had to do with dreams. 3. The Meaning of it All - An assignment that had to do with the meaning of life. 4. Nifty 50s - An assignment that had to do with a certain decade. 5. *Run - A poem I was inspired to write, although I can't remember what inspired me. - Trigger Warning (graphic violence) 6. *Happiness Without Happiness - An assignment that had to do with feeling an emotion without the emotion. - This one is very personal to me. 7. *Beautiful Death - An assignment that focused on flowers. 8. *One Wrong Move - An assignment that focused on a decision I made in my life. 9. *Delayed by Temptation - An assignment (I can't remeber what it was for). 10. To Those Who Know Me - An assignment that focused on something people didn't know about me. 11. Remain Through The Pain - An assignment that was a response to another poem, however I can't remember what the poem was titled.

These characters were created for a creative writing class I took in 2016 Stories that were created with an assignment goal will be explained before the story. That way you, my readers, will understand why it was written in the first place. With that, their story will also not be linear. Some stories were interwoven in later editing phases for contests or to be shared in a critique group that I was in last year. I may share those interwoven stories later, and I may interweave a few more as a lot of these short stories are under 500 words. Though we'll see what I decide to do in the coming weeks Note: The cover is a card from Magic of the Gathering, it does not belong to me. I chose it cause it's close enough to what I had in mind for what my fox and wolf would look like/act like.

I'll be here for you. Not really, but I do give my all when it comes to quotes. I'm not going to withhold any information I think can benefit you, the reader. Even if you do not click the "read" button on this book, if you feel sad, I'll give you a short therapy session because that's what humans do. I usually upload pictures with my quotes(as in the quotes typographied) or I upload a couple quotes at once. At the end, you'll see horoscope sections but please don't think horoscopes define who you really are. Be yourself(as it says on the front cover of this book) Also there are celebrity, book and real proper quotes. Although most are quotes,some are short-sort of carrying on stuff.But don't worry,i won't post stuff like:Think outside the box. This is a story for my english teacher, but i wanted to post it. This story is about a boy and a girl who fins themselves not being able to forget each other, they meet once in a weird circumstance and after that they chase after each other, knowing they probably shouldn't. All characters belong to me, all pictures are not mine and belong to whoever took them, i just found them off pinterest.

This is a script I wrote for my Advanced Comp. class. We are in the middle of filming the whole thing. SO, first out of many. Enjoy.

I have a super active imagination! When I'm testing or have a homework assignment that involves fictional characters it makes me wonder! I wonder if they ever did solve their problems and what their lives are like. I've actually had this idea ever since PARCC ended but didn't feel like writing about it.
