Just can't and clove fanfiction, but what happens when something tears the 2 apart during interviews, do they continue their relationship, or do they fall apart forever?

I do not own any of the characters, Suzanne Collins wrote them. This is from Clove's perspective and follows her journey in the arena as well as if Clove and Cato won. This is my first fanfiction, so the flow of the story, as well as the grammar might not be totally perfect. There will be no smut, as I am not comfortable writing that, the characters are minors, and I don't see how that would progress the story or fit into the theme. There might be some graphic scenes as this is a fight to the death, but it shouldn't be horrible. I hope you enjoy it, and I encourage comments.

in a universe where Katniss and Peeta never went into the games and the tributes from Twelve were killed early, the only remaining tributes are the four main careers, Thresh and Foxface, who has managed to stay alive that far through hiding and stealing food from others. Like in the book, the boy from Four was killed in the bloodbath. The girl from the same District was killed when the gamemakers sent mutts to attack the group. OK, let's get with the story. Note: Prim wasn't reaped.

Clove Is missing. The Capitol is worried sick. Cato has lost his mind. And Snow has everyone right where he wants them. •••••••••• "Listen, I'm not playing games!" "Neither am I, Mister Hadley. Now, if you ever want to see your fiancé again, I suggest you follow the instructions in that envelope." "You don't make the rules, this isn't the Arena!" "Oh, but I do, Mister Hadley. Yet, the rules to this particular game are hardly fair. You will follow every order I give to the letter. That is, if you ever want to see your lovely wife to be." There's a long pause and I hear whimpers on the other line. "She really is beautiful..." Anger grows in the pit of my stomach. "Don't you dare touch her!" He chuckles deeply and I hear her screams on the other line. "Stop it, keep your hands off of her!" "Stop it, no!" She cries, and my heart shatters. "Okay, okay!
