Clary's sole mission is to infiltrate the Institute, get close to Jace, find out what he knows about The Circle, The Uprising and the experiments, and then simply take him out. To love is to destroy and to be loved is to be destroyed is what Clary has been brought up with her entire life, so what happens when Clary finds herself falling for her target? Read to find out...

Okay this is two years in to the future picking up off of where 'Letters From the Shadow World'. Simon and Izzy are still in a long distance relationship. Clary is still struggling with depression witch has only gotten worse to her parabatai's disappointment. Jace and Adele have been dating for a year and a half now. Isabelle has been sending updates once a month to the New York City Institute. She has pushed Clary in her training in between visits with Tessa Grey even though Clary has nearly stopped hunting completely. Isabelle has pushed Clary so hard in her training that she has became the best shadowhunter her age. Ranking first over all the girls and guys her age. Shadowhunters Spin Off Lexie's been watching Clary all her life. Magnus Bane has been housing her for eight years. Ever since Lexie was ten the Clave has had her supervising Clary Fairchild. Her mission entailed that no one could know the clave knew of her presence in New York or that she was a Shadowhunter. On Clary's eighteenth birthday, Lexie was seen at the Pandemonium by Clary. In this story Alec Lightwood is bisexual. In the books and TV he is gay. I understand he is gay and have nothing against gays, but for the purpose of my story he is bisexual.
