Set after Fallen Kingdom, Owen, Claire, and Maisie try to find a way to live in the neo-Jurassic era. Claire and Owen are back together, realizing that survival means much more that not dying. They need each other to live. Maisie Dearing-Grady, formerly Maisie Lockwood, has been adopted by the former Jurassic World employees. I guess Karen was right when she said "when". Many references from 'the Evolution of Claire'.

Each chapter, unless said otherwise, is a new story based on the characters Claire Dearing and Owen Grady from the amazing movie Jurassic World.

Sophie Grady looked forward to the summers that she spent on Isla Nublar. They were her chance to escape from the real world and spend some time with her brother who trained the raptors there. Every summer for as long as she could remember, her brother would pick her up from the airport on Costa Rica and take her over to the park, and she'd help out where she could. Those summers were times of peace and times for her to get away from the bane of her existence: Zach Mitchell.

What does it take to be a parent? To be honest, neither if them knew and didn't have the slightest idea of how to approach their current situation. Maisie wasn't technically their child, but they couldn't just leave her behind, for the system to have, especially after what they were told about her. Claire and Owen, try to get back to their life as it was, except for a couple "minor" changes.

Owen adopts a puppy behind Claire's back. His intention is to have a part of what he lost with his raptor pack back, but he got a pug. A breed that is about to show him how it doesn't take an alpha male to be in charge, but some attitude and charisma would do the trick.

Lena Luthor, the PA of Claire Dearing the manager of park operations. Kara Danvers, mentee to Owen Grady animal behaviorist. Both are different but the same, one day Lena gets assigned to babysit Claire's nephews, what happens when the Indominus rex escapes her paddock? Lena and Kara will have to face their differences and feelings and work together to help Claire and Owen defeat the Indomius.
