Clayton Holmes is an 11 y/o girl that attends a private school in Southern Texas. Her best friend, Zeno Rivers, goes to the public school in their town. Clay has been expelled from a lot of schools for being a troublemaker. When Clay decides to pull her biggest stunt yet, her parents decide she's gone too far and are throwing her into a public school for the first time since she was in kindergarten. When Clay meets Malcolm, Zeno's friend, her life starts to get thrown at her fast, past and present.
