Blair Wells is a regular high school sophomore that has a crush on a guy in the year below her. Blair's sweet, kind, and friends with pretty much everyone, but she doesn't know how to talk to the one guy that makes her heart beat faster. She's perfect on the outside, nice clothes, close family, but what's hiding beneath the surface?
Owen Bennet, a regular high school Freshman that's not very concerned with dating. His main focus is hockey. Hockey is how Owen breathes. He might be 14 years old but he knows his dream. He's the golden boy, the picture perfect son, but how will he outshine the kids older than him and get the recognition he deserves?
Both of them a little awkward, but what's high school without it. What happened when they are pushed into the same group and Owen finally notices Blair. Will he like her? And if he does will he act on it?

"Owen I swear don't you dare let me fall right now" I laugh, holding onto his hands as tight as possible.
"I won't let you go," Owen promises, "I've got you, now relax a bit and move your feet."
My legs wobble a bit as I try my hardest to balance while pushing one skate on the ice, trying to move. I go nowhere. I hear his laugh before I see it, and I flip him off without looking. He holds my hands tighter still laughing and moves us farther. I'm holding my legs as still as possible. Eventually I start pushing my legs out and moving by myself. I still have a death grip on his hands but I'm doing it.
"You're doing good!" Owen encourages as he loosens his grip on my hands.
"Owen Bennett, don't let go of me." I scold.
"I won't let go till you're ready I promise."
