This is the first draft of my fantasy novel, EVELYN DISGRACE. After a disastrous incident in her past, Evelyn Tiras has been lying low in the District of Camden, hoping that one day she will return to her family in the District of Vera. Saving all she can, Evelyn works at Val Olair's production factory, eagerly waiting for the day she can spend her savings on society's acceptance. However, when she receives an invitation to join Aster Wilmick and his cunning crew of saviors on a mission to destroy the Piper of the Dead, she accepts. This may be the only way she can take vengeance for Jeremy Faux, the boy she loved in her past. In the past, Ira of Sar has been demoted from the Thirteenth Legion of the Majesty, and is assigned as Watcher to Evelyn Tiras. Tasked with the burden of recording and writing down her story, Ira watches a tale of romance, regret, and mistakes unfold and the repercussions that impact the present. Past and present are tied together as the girl who desperately wants to win back her family's approval and the being who wants to live his own story come together in an attempt to kill the man who can't be killed: the Piper of the Dead.

Sneak peak snippets: "Please STOP making TikTaks with the supernatural fog that wants to eat us! MB, you're the first one we're going to sacrifice if you don't move!" The kids froze at the sound of Pastor Parks' voice before rushing to grab recording phones off the grocery shelves. "Youth Pastor, um, is this one of those end times signs? Because I know that we've all read the book of Revelations but, um, just wanted to check in?" The way he said it told Pastor Park that he had not in fact read the book of Revelation. The book that they'd been reviewing all month. "You know you have to pay for all the things your youth kids are using, don't yah?" the youth pastor sighed before glaring at the group of boys opening another box of Ding Dongs. "A bunch of ding-dongs for some ding-dongs," the grocery store clerk snickered but tried her best to keep a straight face at the man's look of annoyance. Synopsis: Pastor Park just wanted to get his youth group to their annual winter retreat. Driving thirteen kids ranging in age from 12 all the way up to 24 wouldn't be what he considered the best time of his life. Especially not when they all lacked any semblance of volume control. So you can imagine his ire when forced to stop the van for another bathroom break, a mere 30 minutes from their destination. Kids who didn't even need to use the bathroom pile out of the van, and he watched resignedly before following. Fifteen minutes later while cruising the creepily empty grocery store, he hears the sound of kids screaming and sees an ominous green fog surrounding them with no way out. They never taught him how to handle this kind of stuff in seminary school. One-sentence summary: A youth group, volunteers, and a youth pastor get trapped in a grocery store by a supernatural, ominous green fog. A dark retelling (not of any specific movie)

Venturing across space and time, two civilizations meet and form an unlikely bond. However, as they build this new relationship, ancient secrets of their world are uncovered. These two realms which stand today were once united on one large planet. However, as disaster struck, these sister nations were forced to separate and start anew among the universe. Together, they must ally to rediscover the past and defeat the ancient evils awaiting them before it's too late.
