Clementine and AJ, two survivors who have been on the road for over a year, get in a car crash after trying to scavenge food from an old train station, only to be saved by a group of teenagers and children from Ericsons School For Troubled Youths, where Clementine and AJ get brought to and nursed back to health by the kids, but what happens when things take a turn for the worst?

Everyone dies. In this world? That's a given. Afterwards however? Whether the soul stays with your new decayed, flesh seeking corpse, or goes somewhere greater? That's the question. When Clementine and Violet get into a heated argument, Louis, Brody and Marlon aren't quite sure how to handle it.

Violet's eyebrows furrowed, her hand moving the stick across the dry ground. One letter, sign, two letter- "Violet!" The blond nearly jumped out of her skin, recognizing the voice as well as the shoes approaching her. Her body tensed as she quickly dug the heel of her boot into the ground, making it look less like"V+C" and more like dirt. As her eyes glanced up to meet Clementine's, the butterflies in her stomach flared, causing her mind to race and her heart to beat out of her chest. Why did she have to say her name like that?

Clementine had considered herself a curse to the world as she has been in so many groups and has gotten them all killed. She has never gotten over the deaths that she had blamed herself for. She especially misses Lee, but her willing to live is strong as she takes care of a little boy named Aj. Will she find happiness in this broke world?

Curses are real. They may not be anything like they are in the books, man turning into dragon, broken by a true loves kiss, but rest assured they are real. Unfortunate souls doomed by things big and small, unsettling and uncomfortable, and in some cases, life changing. As long one minds themself, they'll be okay. When The Delta begins a war, Clementine gets captured only to be rescued from a group of Outlaws called "The Troubled Ones" who decided to keep Clementine with them until it's safe to return her. During her stay, Clementine decides to get to know these mysterious outlaws and finds out that they aren't as bad as they seem or sound. One blonde, in particular, catches most of her attention. Starting with a cold and sarcastic demeanor to end up as a caring, protective and loyal friend. But does Clementine think of her as only a friend or could there be more to the both of them in a world so dangerous?
