Cliffjumping Stories

Cristina is in love with her perfect boyfriend of 3 years. So she thinks, until she rekindles her friendship with Emily. Things start to get complicated as she soon realizes that she has feelings for her best friend. "There's something about the ocean, Cristina thought as she laid down to go to sleep. The way the waves engulf you. But they do in a tender sort of way, like they are carrying you to shore. You feel as one with the water as you dive into it's arms, ready to catch you when you fall. The ocean never makes you feel cold. It makes you feel warm. Emily made her feel warm too."

As you turn these pages, you start to understand that Kristen Olson, the person who is telling her story, is bent but not broken. She'll fight for the one she loves. But her accident is holding her back. She must follow a trail in order to get the answers she needs. So, the question is, why could the boy breathe under the water? All you have to do is read and you'll find out.

They are both happy with their careers. Planned to marry each other after their final jump at the competition. Satisfied. Happy. Contented. Reyna Lockhart. She is the epitome of perfect. Valedictorian, class president, soccer player, and recipient of a scholarship for photography from Rhode Island School of Design. Kieran Hastings. Grandson of a war veteran, adrenaline junkie, and a closet novel reader. I should be thrilled to be in Reyna's presence, but I'm not, because I hate her.
