An atmospheric tale set in a dystopian future.

I feel I should be writing up the goings-on of this household. Writing about the first man I have ever loved and have had to leave. To write about the things that I have been critized by.

What would happen if the characters from Encanto were involved in a more serious telling of the Tangled story. Death, heartbreak, kidnapping, treason, burglary, torture, and others. However there is a good bit of fluff amongst the angst: playful banter, sibling rivalry, sibling bonding, mother and son bonding, descriptions of memories and nature, etc... The language reads similarly to college age fiction, with a higher diction and less emphasis on characters internal thoughts and more on actions. This ain't no story orchestrated by a horny teenager, because I have an outline XD. Intellectually and artistically drafted literature is important to me, but my writing might be far from it, so be aware. Inspired by others works of a similar nature found on archive, but I took HEAVY creative liberty so don't crucify me if characters are slightly different then canon. Grammer nazis are welcome to point out errors and sarcastic comments or criticism is strongly recommended. I want to improve my textbook-like writing so I don't mind. thanks you all and happy reading. This is my first multi chapter work so expect there to be MANY edits in the near future, and I'm in college rn so updates will NOT be frequent although I will try.

A short story of youth, loss, and grief.

These are actually all separate short stories. They were never meant to be connected or continued. It just happened. The first one was based on a dream, and shaped to symbolize my own childhood (between 6 and 16) The second is about my first mature love, but obviously second to the first. As it turns out, he's ace, and had to tell me we could never be together. This was written during the weeks following the heart to heart. The third was written about my female best friend. She is engaged to someone. But I don't feel right about it at all. It is a huge strain on our friendship. The fourth was written during my engagement to a wonderful man. The fifth was written after getting married, and realizing that my mental problems won't be disappearing just because I have a husband now. The cliffs have come to symbolize major changes in my life that affect me and my relationships. I believe these would be even more moving if I could add visuals. If an artist happens upon these, and is also inspired, please DM me! I am currently looking for a colab partner to draw some of my stories.
