Ashton is shy, depressed and self harming. His best friend (his only friend) gets in a fight, and starts a band as an attempt to handle his anger. When Ashton is invited to this band called '5 seconds of summer' things finally start to go his way, and people start to notice him, but will it be enough to turn his life around?

Jana was your average girl. Well, if you count being Michael Clifford's sister average. Besides that, she's just like any other girl. Except she doesn't wear makeup or dresses unless absolutely necessary. And she's not head over heals in love with Luke Hemmings, like every teenage girl in the world. Quite the opposite actually, she can't stand his cocky ass.
