I am making up their backstories as I go, so none of it fits in with Marvel's actual backstory for them. I've changed their ages, people they knew (mostly I'm adding my own characters for interest and such), and so much more about them. Don't trust any of the backstory in here! There were a few excepted bumps along the way. But the next bump in the road was not anticipated. An attempt on Natasha's life was made, an assassin who the team had never heard of before. She was a fourteen year old girl, going by the name of "Red Widow", almost as if she was taunting Natasha. Join the Avengers on a twisting journey to hell and back, in order to save one of their own. After the Chitauri's invasion, Nick Fury can't afford to be caught off guard again. Of course S.H.I.E.L.D. is keeping an eye out for possible threats but he knows that the big guys are going to go after the Avengers. So the Director calls up the only Avenger he knows that has absolutely nothing to do. Hawkeye. Clint has to see what the Earth's Mightiest Heroes are up to and report everything back to Nick Fury. Without getting caught. Easier said than done. Follow Hawkeye as he embarks on Project Time Bomb.
