An ancient ring crosses the path of a young ambitious thief, unleashing a series of mysterious events on the world of Domaria. Cursed, he seeks revenge, while his physical and mental condition decays. A group of inexperienced adventurers is mustered and sent to their own fate to investigate. It will be the beginning of a new age of darkness?

Terran stepped out. “We’re here to see Jack Frost, miss.” I waved my hand. “Enough with ‘miss’es. Call me…Frostbite, if you must.” I smirked, wondering if they would catch the hint I’d so conveniently placed. “O-kay…” Terran trailed off. Hm, guess not. Disappointing. ~ Jacqueline (Jackie) Frost is a myth; a legend told by parents to get their children to behave. Well, at least, that's what they say. What they don't know is that "Jack Frost" does exist. In fact, there's a completely different world out there beyond their capability to understand. A world where the enemy of all kingdoms is stronger and much more powerful than the rest. A world where dark secrets are yet to be revealed. Oh, and can't forget the most important: A world where a teenage girl is the enemy. Huh. Who would've thought?

His face is leveled to mine and I can see tiny droplets of water on his face and lips as he draws closer to me, my anticipation is crazy as he moves millimeter by millimeter. I roll my eyes and move my head away. "Don't do this." He acknowledges what I said but doesn't act on it. He takes his hand and moves it to my jawline, moving my head to him. This causes me to become frantic. I can't get messed over. "Karan, we literally just had this conversation. This isn't fair to me, please don't." His facial features soften completely at my tone and he looks at me genuinely. "I would never." With that he kisses me and my stomach explodes in butterflies, turning over. He moves his hands from the hood of his car to the side of my waist. "That wasn't fake, Tejasswi", his eyes intent on mine against the dark drizzling sky. I can't stop looking at him. She's a soloist who doesn't like help. Especially with a huge mission like this. Will the mission fall through? Or would she need a partner more than ever?

An old man in a cloak walks down a street. A horror story.

A superhero, a villain, and a long lost love. (Just some info about the story: I was at work one afternoon when a man walked in wearing a long leather cloak - exactly like the one in the story - and my manager and I found him to be very weird and creepy, for the most part little details in this story are taken exactly from what I saw. Except the conversation and just the general story line of the man. My manager as she was leaving made a passing comment about writing a story about him - so I did)
