The story is about a girl who is suffering from losing her memory and now she is living in a place which is completely different from the place she used to live .Now she is discovering her past at the same time she is also forgetting her present.

Amber and Milo have know each other for as long as they can remember, they're scavengers in a world that has small supplies to survive, one day Amber goes to explore the old clocktower to find parts to a music box that she's had forever, there she meets Ginger, a girl who says she owns the clocktower and has for centuries. Amber befriends Ginger and she brings Milo to meet her, after they talk and get to know each other, bombs start dropping over the city, Amber and Milo begin to worry about their homes and rush off, Ginger stays behind to watch over the clocktower. Once all the dust has settled Amber rushes back to the tower, only to find it in pieces, she discovers while looking for Ginger a large geometric key with a note saying, " Take this key, Milo, and run. The story centers on one fateful day at the Clock Tower. A local hospice nurse, Martha-May, must face her fear of death when the clock tower's owner, Albert Timmer, realizes that he will not be on this Earth much longer and iterates on future plans for the clock tower. The Clock Tower originated as an English Class assignment that eventually turned into a short story.
