Tick, tock, tick, tock, tick, tock... A swift story of two men in a void-like reality sharing statements only they would understand, but intriguing enough for others to long to decipher.

Macy Woodlock's parents died in a shooting when she was only 8. But after that, she seemed to be leading on a normal life. Well, until that one day. When he showed up, and showed the hidden truth to her world.

The past isn't dead. It's waiting. Vanessa Reyes thought her grandmother's death was the end of a chapter in her life. She was wrong. Days after the funeral, a mysterious letter leads her to a hidden clock tower buried deep within an ancient forest. There, she discovers a world where time can be manipulated, history can be rewritten, and dangerous creatures hunt those connected to the tower. As secrets from her family's past begin to unravel, Vanessa finds herself caught between powerful forces fighting for control of time itself. With the help of the mysterious Adrian-a man who seems to know more about her than he should-she must uncover the truth before the past, present, and future collapse into chaos. Some secrets were never meant to be found. And some destinies cannot be escaped.

Life is like a clock. It stops and breaks but every fault brings it closer to its end. Until it finally stops ticking. This was Leaha's outlook on life. Yeah...I said was...because the truth is she's dead now. I'm left with two choices. Give up. Leaving her to rest eternally or find the last piece of her now shattered clockwork heart. There's one thing I know for sure and that's life wouldn't be worth living without my best friend by my side. She rescued me once and it's about time I return the favour. For you saved me...so I'll save you. This was a short story which I had to do for my English class. The task was to make it around 2000 words.......it didn't work out that well in my case but it was accepted as it was still technically speaking a short story. I hope you like it. The front cover is mine and I made it with my own efforts.

First off, I'll be happy if anyone reads this. Second, these stories are entirely by me, but I got some inspiration from the game Enlightenus. Some story titles are from that game, and in those stories, there will be occasional references to the game itself. Now that that's out of the way, I hope you enjoy!

Amber and Milo have know each other for as long as they can remember, they're scavengers in a world that has small supplies to survive, one day Amber goes to explore the old clocktower to find parts to a music box that she's had forever, there she meets Ginger, a girl who says she owns the clocktower and has for centuries. Amber befriends Ginger and she brings Milo to meet her, after they talk and get to know each other, bombs start dropping over the city, Amber and Milo begin to worry about their homes and rush off, Ginger stays behind to watch over the clocktower. Once all the dust has settled Amber rushes back to the tower, only to find it in pieces, she discovers while looking for Ginger a large geometric key with a note saying, " Take this key, Milo, and run. Trust nobody Amber." Hi everyone! This is my second book on here, I hope you all like it!
